NTU’s Star Wars – It’s that time of the year again when NTU students across the universe fight for what is perhaps the most important event of the semester. Fret not! Here are three tips that you can use to defeat the system. Not only in ensuring that you get all your COREs, but also in getting your elective modules.
As the title states, this is a guide to getting into the swing of things here at Nanyang Business School (NBS). It can hardly promise that you will get good results after reading it. What it can do, however, is to provide suggestions on how one can get himself into the pulse of university life and improve his chances within the highly competitive nature of the school.

Academic Units (AUs):
Academic Units (or Modular Credits in NUS/credits in SMU) is the measurement of the amount of workload required for that module. Normally a 3AU module usually means that the module has three hours worth of lessons/tutorials in total though there are definitely many exceptions to the rule like lab(3 hours a week but 1AU).
