  1. I am a private candidate taking my A’Levels and I am wondering whether I can still enter a local university if my subject combination does not include Project Work.

    1. Hi Kat!

It’s just your prelims so don’t worry too much. School usually set their prelim papers much harder then what you’d expect during your A Levels. I had a large number of Us before my prelims and hardly ever passed a single subject in my 2 years in JC but I turned out okay.

Just keep working hard and have faith! I’m sure you’ll do just fine. 🙂

If there’s is anything else you need help with or anything else that troubles you, please feel free to let me know. I’ll try my best to help you if I can. 😀

  2. Hi Zueet, my grades are BBE/B with D in GP and B for PW. I sadly got rejected by both NTU and NUS arts faculty:( So i am thinking of appealing to ntu’s history and nus’s fass what do you think my chances are?

    1. Hi Thanya,

It’ll be difficult for you to get a place in FASS and NTU History as well. For NTU History, you need to meet the following minimum requirements: A good grade in General Paper/Knowledge & Inquiry/H1 Level History/English Literature/Geography. I’m not sure what subjects you have taken, but if you meet all these requirements and you’re an arts student, perhaps it’s worth trying.

Hope this helps. Best of luck with your application!

      – Zueet
